The design concept was to have a zero cost on electricity on this commercial site but with a commercial kitchen, commercial laundry and mechanical loads, this posed enormous challenges for Seven20 Electrical.  The solution was a custom designed renewable energy system that uses PV and battery storage, with full BMS programming.

A state-of-the-art Circadian Rhythm Lighting System changes the colour temperature of the LED light fittings – allowing the natural Circadian Rhythm of the children to wind down and reset at nap time.

This is a sister project to Wantirna Early Learning centre.

This project was a finalist in the 2019 NECA Awards making a statement in the renewable energy and storage categories.
